The two Select coatings are comprised of ceramics (protects the precision edge) and PTFE (for a smooth, effortless cut), the cutting edge forms a 35 degree angle, and the blades fit all disposable holders in both microtome and cryostat machines. Selects's unique blend of fine precision and a hard coating makes it an ideal choice for all general purpose applications.
Low profile blades are 76mm x 8mm x .25mm (this is an industry wide standard dimension.) High profile blades are 76mm x 14mm x .30mm (this is an industry wide standard dimension.)
